Democrat rules for campaigns

It's always good to review how the Obama campaign gets its framework for their campaigns. They will never focus on the good that they have done because there rarely is any. They will focus and isolate individuals( see George Bush), Groups ("the rich", "big anything(conveniently place any industry here), or tug at your heart rather than your brain (great words are "less fortunate" or "those who have played by the rules").

Always ask a liberal to cite examples or details, you will have won the argument right there.

Saul Alinsky Rules for Radicals.

Tactics

"Tactics are those conscious deliberate acts by which human beings live with each other and deal with the world around them. ... Here our concern is with the tactic of taking; how the Have-Nots can take power away from the Haves." p.126

Always remember the first rule of power tactics:

1. "Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have."

2. "Never go outside the expertise of your people. When an action or tactic is outside the experience of the people, the result is confusion, fear and retreat.... [and] the collapse of communication.

3. "Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy. Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty. (This happens all the time. Watch how many organizations under attack are blind-sided by seemingly irrelevant arguments that they are then forced to address.)

4. "Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules. You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity."

5. "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counteract ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage."

6. "A good tactic is one your people enjoy."

7. "A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag. Man can sustain militant interest in any issue for only a limited time...."

8. "Keep the pressure on, with different tactics and actions, and utilize all events of the period for your purpose."

9. "The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself."

10. "The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this unceasing pressure that results in the reactions from the opposition that are essential for the success of the campaign."

11. "If you push a negative hard and deep enough, it will break through into its counterside... every positive has its negative."

12. "The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative."

13. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. In conflict tactics there are certain rules that [should be regarded] as universalities. One is that the opposition must be singled out as the target and 'frozen.'...

"...any target can always say, 'Why do you center on me when there are others to blame as well?' When your 'freeze the target,' you disregard these [rational but distracting] arguments.... Then, as you zero in and freeze your target and carry out your attack, all the 'others' come out of the woodwork very soon. They become visible by their support of the target...'

"One acts decisively only in the conviction that all the angels are on one side and all the devils on the other." (pps.127-134)

Media Matters claims Fox News is advising the GOP to use high gas prices against the White House using this a a claim for medis bias by Fox News.

Two problems

1. Anyone with an IQ above 70 would realize this is an issue you would use in a campaign against an incumbant administration

2. Two of the 6 quotes they use were Democrat contributers.

I not we

I not we: What is more racist?

Believing that a group of people cannot prosper without the government taking from another group and giving it to them.

Or the belief that allowing a group of people to act on their own without interference from the government is the path to prosperity.

It sounds like common sense to me. Or is that giving Liberals too much credit.

Rep. Allen West on GOP Black History

Given the polarization on Capitol Hill today, how does the left actually get away with insisting that one day the whole Democrat Party went from hating blacks to loving them and the whole GOP switching positions as well?Given the state of the..

The demonization of wealth

Wealth is a product of man's capacity to think - Atlas Shrugged

This basic premise of man is being assailed on a daily basis. Wealth is now portrayed as the subjucation of the lower classes for the sole benefit of the capitalist. When the jobs are gone, the capital investment has dried up and tax revenue dissappears will the left be singing the same tune?

The New FBI Interrogation Manual List Of Do's And Don'ts

Thanks for this great piece: The Political and Financial Markets Commentator, Mike Haltman

When we have captured high value terrorist suspects, there are strict rules of etiquette and engagement to be followed.

Any information that cannot be obtained through these methods we will just have to do without (no matter how many lives this information might save).

1) Always say may I to the prisoner, or at the very least have a smile on your face so as not to scare them beyond a reasonable point. If the prisoner ever asks you to stop what you are doing you must always comply immediately. Remember that we must cater to the far left.

2) When in doubt about the technique you are about to use, ask yourself if the ACLU would use it, and if they would not, stop.

3) Cross check #2 by asking yourself if other, more conservative countries seriously concerned with national security would use the technique, and if they would, stop as well. ***(If there are techniques which those countries would not bother using because they are worthless at getting information, you can use those with no restrictions)

Dismantling the defense of our country

Very few on the right believed that Leon Panetta would be a strong advocate of doing what it takes to keep our country safe. Most of us in the public arena do not know what goes on behind the scenes between the White House and the various agencies in place to protect us. I can only imagine the dismantling of our ability to presumptively defend the citizens of our country when someone with the left wing politics of Leon Panetta has threatened to quit his post as director of the CIA due to the far left influence of the White House administration. The White House and justice department have told the world that we will be using the Army field manual restrictions on interrogating our enemies. In laymens terms you know what pitch is being thrown, what play the offense is running or having the test the night before the big exam except this is life or death. The left had been waiting for the inspector general's report to expose the notion that enhanced interrogation works. There hasn't been a bigger backfire since Howard Dean screamed like a mental patient in the primaries. Now to hear lefties Juan Williams and Kristin Powers explain that there is still no evidence that we wouldn't have gotten the information otherwise is the height of disingenuousness. Tell that to the peolple and their families who would have been on or near the Brooklyn bridge. Pressure needs to be put on this administration that the American people and their right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness is more important than our enemies right not to be interrogated to the fullest extent possible.

The professor

Thanks to whomever wrote this:

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had once failed an entire class.--------------------------------------------That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan". All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A. After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B.
The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little. The second test average was a D!
No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F. The scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else. All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed. Could not be any simpler than that!!!???????

Administration abolishes 401k deduction

Administration abolishes 401k deduction
AS News (Mundelein) - Today the administration signed into legislation the abolishment of the tax credit for 401k contributions. An official connected to the administration is quoted "we have been allowing too much money to be controlled by too few. The current fall in the market and decrease in 401k portfolio value has shown that the freedom given to 401k holders to invest has not worked. We have allowed people to invest in their retirement and they have shown that this is a bad policy."The tax credit received by workers for their 401k investments is $80 billion dollars. Officials went on to say "The government is better equipped to make decisions regarding people's retirement because the rich have been able to invest differently than those of lesser means. We have been losing money because of welfare for the most fortunate in our society. By eliminating this discrepancy and having the government level the playing field, we will better able to decide who should benefit from the recouping of the $80 billion we have been losing."The only retirement funds that will not be converted to government bonds will be the Union pension funds. "We feel that assets in the hands of a those who work in our society is a benefit to society as a whole. " officials said.
