Dismantling the defense of our country

Very few on the right believed that Leon Panetta would be a strong advocate of doing what it takes to keep our country safe. Most of us in the public arena do not know what goes on behind the scenes between the White House and the various agencies in place to protect us. I can only imagine the dismantling of our ability to presumptively defend the citizens of our country when someone with the left wing politics of Leon Panetta has threatened to quit his post as director of the CIA due to the far left influence of the White House administration. The White House and justice department have told the world that we will be using the Army field manual restrictions on interrogating our enemies. In laymens terms you know what pitch is being thrown, what play the offense is running or having the test the night before the big exam except this is life or death. The left had been waiting for the inspector general's report to expose the notion that enhanced interrogation works. There hasn't been a bigger backfire since Howard Dean screamed like a mental patient in the primaries. Now to hear lefties Juan Williams and Kristin Powers explain that there is still no evidence that we wouldn't have gotten the information otherwise is the height of disingenuousness. Tell that to the peolple and their families who would have been on or near the Brooklyn bridge. Pressure needs to be put on this administration that the American people and their right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness is more important than our enemies right not to be interrogated to the fullest extent possible.
