As the government continues to take our money and make bad investment decisions when will the people realize we have hit rock bottom? The auto industry has been given to the uaw thanks to a susidy from YOUR tax dollars. Not all of the people's tax dollars only the 50% of people who actually pay income taxes. It is comical that a recent poll pointed out that 50% of the people think that the amount of taxes they pay are just right. Which is consistant with the amount of people who don't pay taxes!!! California is now bankrupt. If they were a private company they would go out of business but they are a government with unlimited access to your wallet. GM and Chrysler will be transferred from private companies to government funded (meaning your wallet) to gift to the UAW for support during the election. Isn't that illegal? we hve all been shown that the government is not capable of running anything. Amtrak? Post office? Social security? Medicare? All bankrupt!!! All bankrupt despite the fact that your money is continually confiscated and poured into these entities. Would your continue to buy shares in these companies if they were private? We can only hope that the people will wake up and understand that as private companies continue to shut their doors because the productive 50% cannot fund the underproductive 50% for very long. Sooner or later you run out of other people's money.
